You’ve got a budget, you’ve got a bride who absolutely claims she doesn’t want a stripper (she absolutely does, we promise), and you need to know whether the numbers are going to work. Male stripper hire in Australia is more affordable than most people expect, and once you see what the lads actually deliver on the night, you’ll wonder why you even hesitated!
Quick answer: a standard strip show starts from around $220 in most cities, with extended packages, combos, and double acts going up from there. Pricing is split between a booking fee paid to Hens Knights and a cash payment made directly to your lad on the night, so have the notes ready!
Right, let’s break it all down properly.
What affects the price of a male stripper in Australia?
A few things go into the final number, and knowing them upfront saves everyone a headache:
Duration and package type. A standard G-string strip show is your entry-level option. Full nude, extended mingle packages, and combo strip/topless waiter packages all sit at different price points. More of him, more of the night, more of the fun, more of the money, funnily enough!
City. Pricing is broadly similar across Australia, though it can vary slightly. We’ve used Sydney rates as the reference point below, check the rates pages for your specific city.
How far in advance you book. The best lads get snapped up early, particularly from October through February. Book late and you’ll still find someone, but your options narrow.
Travel. If your venue is outside the standard service area, a small travel fee may apply. Ask about this upfront so there are no surprises.
Important note: All pricing below is split into a booking fee (paid to Hens Knights to lock in your lad) plus a cash payment made directly to your performer on the night. Your enquiry confirmation will spell out exactly what’s what.
Male stripper prices by package type
Here’s what the packages actually look like, using Sydney pricing as the guide (rates may vary slightly by city, check the full rates pages for your city):
Hot G-String Costume Strip: from $220. Your lad arrives in full costume, strips down to his G-string teasing the hens and the bride the whole way, then stays for group photos. Show runs about 12-13 minutes. Great for groups with a few elderly ladies with dodgy tickers in attendance, though in our experience those ladies end up wanting a lot more than a G-string lol!
Full Nude Costume Strip: from $250. Full Monty, nothing left to the imagination, all focus on the hen (or shared around the group if you prefer). Same 12-13 minute runtime, same group photos, significantly more of your lad. Don’t worry if you’ve got Aunties and Nanas there, they probably haven’t seen a young man in the buff for quite some time and always love it more than anyone else!!
30-Minute Strip and Mingle: from $300. Full strip plus the lad sticks around for body shots, photos, a bit of mingling, and whatever games you’ve got going. Twelve minutes of routine plus time to actually enjoy him, recommended if you want more than a hit-and-run!!
1-Hour Strip and Topless Waitering: from $350. Full strip plus an hour of topless waitering, drinking games, body shots, lap dances for anyone keen, less is NOT more, more is MORE!!! This is the sweet spot for most groups who want the performance AND the vibe.
2-Hour Strip and Topless Waitering: from $440. Your lad performs the strip at any point during the 2 hours of your choosing (some groups want him to strip first, some want to warm up with the waitering first, totally up to you!), plus full topless waitering service, games, everything. If you’ve got a little more time and want to really get to know your stripper, this one.
Full Nude Double Act: from $560. Two lads. From full costume down to Full Monty, performing together. No-one neeeeds 2, but like just about everything in life, 2 is better than 1!! Worth every extra dollar.
Topless waiter prices, separate from strippers
If you’re booking a topless waiter only (not a strip show), here’s what that looks like for Sydney:
1 lad for 2 hours: $210. 1 lad for 3 hours: $310. 2 lads for 2 hours: $415. 2 lads for 3 hours: $555.
Pricing is per booking, not hourly, pick your package and your number of lads, and that’s your number. Check the topless waiter rates page for your city.
Life drawing prices
Life drawing at your venue (Option 1 – model comes to you): $495 + $5 per guest for materials. For example, 10 guests = $545 total. This includes the model for 2 hours (with optional 20-30 minutes of topless waitering first to break the ice) and all the drawing materials. You can add a full costume strip at the start for $150 extra, highly recommended for maximum chaos!!
Life drawing at your venue (Option 2 – model AND a separate topless waiter): $670 + $5 per guest. For 10 guests = $720. One lad draws, one lad serves drinks. Two lads are better than one.
Licensed venue life drawing packages (includes unlimited drinks and canapes): from $109 per person, minimum 14 guests.

How to get the most out of your booking budget
The 2-hour strip and topless waitering combo ($440) does the job of two separate bookings for less than the cost of hiring two separate people. The bride gets surprised by her topless waiter turning stripper at a moment she absolutely did not see coming, which is the best possible outcome for everyone involved.
Book early. The best lads in every city book out, particularly for October through February. December and January dates go fastest.
Tell us about the group. A group of 40 with a few elderly relatives needs a different energy to a group of 10 who have been drinking since noon. The more we know, the better the match.
Frequently asked questions about male stripper costs in Australia
The Hot G-String Costume Strip starts from $220 in Sydney. It’s a full performance and still absolutely gets the room going, just without the Full Monty at the end. Perfect if you’ve got a more conservative group, or if budget is tight and you still want to give the bride something to deny wanting.
Travel fees may apply outside the standard service area. Some costume upgrades are priced as add-ons. And remember – pricing is split into a booking fee (paid upfront) and cash to the performer on the night. Your confirmation will tell you exactly what to have ready. No surprises from our end.
This is exactly the 2-hour strip and topless waitering combo, $440, and it’s our most popular booking format. The bride thinks she has a topless waiter. She is incorrect. The moment he strips is always, always priceless.
Yes, the base price ($495 + $5pp for materials) doesn’t change based on how many guests you have beyond the per-person materials fee. So for a group of 15 it works out to roughly $36-$38 per head, which is exceptional for almost two hours of entertainment with a naked man involved.
Slightly. Sydney tends to sit at the mid-to-upper end. Brisbane and Adelaide are generally more affordable. The differences are rarely dramatic ,usually $20-$50 per package. Check the full rates pages for your city for exact current pricing.
Right, check the Sydney male stripper rates (or your city’s equivalent) for the full current breakdown, then enquire here to lock in your booking. Your bride has no idea what’s coming. Excellent.
